Giving Thanks, Sharing Hope

As November invites us into a season of gratitude, we are thankful for God’s continued provision and for the faithful support of partners like you. Because of you, Mission Haiti is able to provide meals, spiritual care, education, and hope to families across Haiti who are experiencing difficult times.

October Food Distribution – Kenscoff, Pétion-Ville

Last month, families in the mountain region of Kenscoff gathered to receive much-needed food supplies. Through your generosity, we were able to help feed dozens of families who are enduring increased hunger and economic instability.

Thank you for helping us meet both physical and spiritual needs!

Day of Thanks in Haiti – January 1

While we celebrate Thanksgiving here in the United States, Haiti’s national day of gratitude is just ahead on January 1. This day, known as Haiti’s Independence Day, is a time when Christians gather for worship, fellowship, and thanksgiving to God. One of the most meaningful traditions is sharing Soup Joumou, a special pumpkin soup representing freedom and unity!

Last year, Mission Haiti sponsored a Soup Joumou celebration and the response was overwhelmingly joyful and hopeful. We are prayerfully preparing to host the event again, and we are seeking donations to make this outreach possible.Would you join us in blessing families through Soup Joumou this January? Every gift helps us provide food, worship gatherings, and hope in Christ.

Kids’ Christmas Party at Kolkiyol

Join in on the fun this Christmas season! We are looking to raise $500 during the months of November and December to cover the cost of gifts, food and celebration activities! This includes hiring a local Haitian Baker in Port au Prince to make Kolkiyol (the Haitian word for doughnut) for the kids' Christmas party!

Disaster Update: Hurricane Melissa Relief

Thank you to everyone who responded with prayers and financial gifts following Hurricane Melissa. Your donations are currently being used in Port-au-Prince to address flood damage and hunger caused by the storm. We are grateful for your compassion in a time of great need.

We Give Thanks for You

As we gather around tables this Thanksgiving, we stop to thank God for the families we serve in Haiti and for partners like you who help us continue His work. Your generosity is feeding bodies, lifting spirits, and pointing hearts to Christ.

Thank you for being a blessing.
